Alternative Solutions to Male Hair Loss...

Australian Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardner has recently revealed that he has had a full hair transplant, but it's important for the world to know that hair transplants are not the only option available to people suffering from hair loss.

In an attempt to cover his male pattern baldness, Jason suffered a painful and problematic "stick-on-wig" before deciding to shave his head and sport an edgy, cropped style made popular by celebrities such as David Beckham and Vin Diesel.

According to the Daily Mail;"the 39-year-old’s hair transplant was a lengthy process, including an eight-hour operation and then waiting almost a year for the results to grow through."

A quicker, cheaper and less intrusive procedure is known as Micro Hair Technique®- an innovative solution to male hair loss that is quickly gathering support across the world. Jason's transplant cost him £22,000- over ten times the cost of most MHT® treatments by HIS Hair Clinic.

MHT® was founded by brother and sister-in-law Ian Watson and Ranbir Rai-Watson nine years ago, and MHT® involves no surgery, no scarring and no hair pieces. Scalp pigmentation is a highly sophisticated treatment based on a very specialised scalp pigmentation procedure, where the pigments can be customised to suit the individuals scalp and overall appearance.

Hair transplants involve taking grafts containing hair follicles genetically resistant to balding and transplanting them to the bald scalp. However, the reality of hair replacement systems and hair transplants are far from perfect, despite them being the most publicised options for hair loss. Many people leave clinics with poorly finished treatments and noticeable scarring, which lowers their self esteem even further than before. The most horrific stories of hair transplants gone wrong, such as wounds being stapled rather than sewn together, seem to have diminished. However, as many men are discovering, hair transplants using the strip harvesting technique can leave noticeable scaring at the back of the head, leaving the patient self conscious and unhappy with the results.

A large proportion of HIS Hair Clinic's clientele are men who want to cover their scarring from hair transplants and restore their self confidence. Many men are unaware of the risks associated with hair transplants and so believe that any scarring incurred is a permanent disfigurement they will have to live with, but as the pictures below show, it's not.

... and after!
MHT® is ideal for those men that don’t want the hassle of constantly having to maintain a hairstyle- forget having to groom your bed-head in the mornings! It can be used to disguise early signs of hair loss, camouflage male pattern baldness and receding hair lines, or can be applied to the whole scalp.

Men are currently travelling from within the UK, Europe, US and the Middle East to undergo the treatment, which is available in clinics based in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and London’s Harley Street, as well as Marbella and Malaga.

  3. The 39-year-old has also been noticed for lacking his signature hair density. But surprisingly, like other men who suffer from continuous hair thinning which ultimately leads receding hairline, Beckham did not face any such issue and is still flaunting a head full of hair. There are rumors that the English footballing prodigy has found a hair transplant expert who has helped him overcome the thinning hair problem so skillfully that you can’t even doubt Beckham going under the knife for retaining his signature hairline and hairstyles.
